Wayne Alliance Hosts 5th Annual Overdose Awareness and Hope for the Future on August 31st
The public is invited to share at townhall [front entrance] a memory of someone lost to accidental overdose on our interactive memorial chalkboard through the month of August and on Wednesday 8/31 at Wayne Town Hall – 475 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ 07470.
Please stop by Wayne Township Townhall and write a memory or view the board and share the beautiful memories of the angels lost to addiction. We encourage the public to keep their loved ones’ memory alive by sharing with others what you want others to know about your loved one.
We must remove the stigma and understand that the personality of addiction varies and every lost angel is someone’s child, parent, relative, friend who is loved.
Speakers will share hope, resources and the names of local residents lost will be announced during the closing candle vigil.
The FREE event will begin immediately following the town concert which begins at 7pm. The performers are Walking in Circles the winners of the Wayne Alliance Music Makers Local Youth Contest created to demonstrate the positivism created by music.
