141st Annual GRC Harvest Home

20 August @ 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

After a two year hiatus, the Griggstown Reformed Church will hold its 141st Annual Harvest Home on Saturday, August 20, 2022.  This event brings together Griggstown residents and the surrounding communities for a day of fun, food and frolics.

Festival start time is 3:30 PM.  From the opening, the food stand will be open with hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage and chicken sandwiches, fresh corn on the cob, homemade baked beans and coleslaw, vegetarian chili and other foods available for reasonable prices.  The baked goods stand is always open and festival-goers can buy homemade dessert for at the event or even to take home for another day.  The Works – ice cream, angel food cake and fresh peaches – is always a popular treat; along with the freshly baked pies of blueberry, apple and peach.

Throughout the day, entertainment will be provided by the Sweet Adelines – who practice out of the GRC Hall – and the Blawenburg Band – established in 1890 and is one of the oldest community bands in New Jersey.  Attendees can stroll through the grounds of GRC and check out the Quilt display in the church building, the Silent Auction – which goes off at 6:30 PM, Margaret’s Goodies and other displays; including a local race team.

The kids can be kept entertained with games and prizes for nominal prices for tickets to participate.  The ever popular, for children and adults alike, coconut toss and dunk tank will be on hand.

Entrance to the event is free.

Come on out and enjoy a wonderful day!
